Paige B.,1st hour. As I walked into class this morning all that came to mind was hello early release Wednesday. As always happily smiling Mr. Becker welcomes another good morning to the really non enthusiastic 1st hour class. Even though first hour is always slightly tired, most of us students came with the dialogue journals finished. Mr. Becker approaches everyone going over there entry and says very energetically “Great work again”! Next came the discussion for the day, which could use another day to add some voices for are class goal we have barely met. Going on in discussion one person after another would bring something up to talk about, one individual bring up ugly Satan. We talked on and on about how this Satan has 3 heads and is quit large. He would possibly scare you with his ugliness and enlargement size and bat wings that you would run away and never come back, I know I would. Discussion went on the hole hour with many of comments and questions. One comment or question was talking about how this poem kind of goes along the lines of interesting rules that would not normally go through ones mind. Talking more in this discussion the loud bell of happiness moves us on to the next class period.
Jared Wuest 3rd hour
I walk in to the classroom and notice that their isn’t alot of people in the classroom. It doesn’t take long and Nick walks in with THREE stream team fake tattoo on his face. Then Mr.Becker start class instructing us to answer a question on the back of our response. Next Mr.Becker goes around the class and looks at our response over the canto. I can’t help to notice that Mr.Becker keeps flipping my response and is taking along time to look at it. Class discussion starts about the reading and we mostly discussed devil and how he looks. We spent a while on the three sprits in the devil mouth and how one of them is connected to Caesar and why he is their. Next a student chimes in about how Dante has changed from being mad, angry and cause harm to other to fearing about his life. Next the class talk about how the devil is trapped in hell and that god controlled hell. Last we talk about how the book would effect the Catholic religion at the time. Mr.becker end class by telling us their is no paper and he would give us our next book tomorrow and gave us the end of class to talk.
