I walked into class today and Nick was asking Mr. Becker if he could switch desks because apparently there was a difference that Mr. Becker could not see. It was tye-dye and jorts day and immediately when Justin walked in people were on him to cover up his legs because they were completely covered in hair. We were going to read our first section of Dante's Inferno today. Mr. Becker pointed out that you should not read it by the line breaks which made me wonder why is was set up like a poem then in the first place? He explained the assignmentto us and it wasn't too bad. Then everyone seemed to have trouble grasping the fact that you need five quotes from each reading which was surprising to me that such a thing could be so difficult. Finally, he reminds us one last time that the paper on 1984 is due tonight and let's us get started. The reading was somewhat confusing, but it was interesting. Everyone finished up eventually and there were a few minutes left to talk before class was over.
