Nick G. 3rd Hour
As I entered the gathering place of Mr.Becker's English 4, I sat down and was greeted by the Jolly Green Giant. I then accepted a detective assignment from a damsel in distress. Her house had been vandalized and I felt I could assist in identifying the culprits. Class was officially started by having Ashley present her connection to 1984 with a movie that seemed interesting, but nobody had heard of it. Mr. Becker then started going over the requirements and recommendations for the essay we would soon undertake. I got confused about a certain aspect and could have possibly had a stroke. We also got sidetracked by my favorite books. It seems as if Mr. Becker didn't think I had any. The discussion was followed by a worksheet to practice the outline of our formal essay. Towards the end of class, people scurried to the teachers desk to get the worksheet evaluated. The bell rang and out we went like a heard of cattle.
Taylor W. 2nd hour.
Before I walked into class, missing two days of school, I think how life is going to suck for being allergic to my body wash and missing to days.
I walked into class and took a death breath and grabed a paper from the table. I sat down and tried to to read the board but I never can because the lights put a glar on the bored so I gave up.
As i started to think up my scribe notes I suddenly realize that I have spanish class next, so I tap Amber on the shoulder as i always do and she was so kind to tell me that spanish class is sucking with the sub and how she hasnt learned anything at all. That made me super excited to go to spanish( NOT REALLY).
Why is this class so cold? My toes are freezing.
I begin to think how I really dont want to read this play, because I really hate reading plays, its so hard.
Then Mr. Becker tells the class that we are about to get into our groups. YAY. I love being in groups. NOT REALLY. Im more of an independent person. Pluse Im the only girl.
Ok, reading this play is sucking. And this story makes no since.
I also have to go pee. But Im too scared to ask. Im a big scardey cat about everything. I DO NOT WANT TO GO TO SPANISH CLASS AT ALL. PLEASE LET ME GO HOME!!

The first thing I noticed when I stepped into class today was that Becker was there, no doubt in my mind that his "meetings" yesterday were simply a way for him to get out of the final discussion. But as it is it didn't really matter. We ended up discussing the biggest thing that was argued over the day before. After a short and simple reading it was proven that Winston did NOT die. Might I say, in your face? Anyways, we then began to work on our essays, deciding which prompts to do and doing practice thesis statements and topic sentences. This is a format we'd all been taught before but Becker's new way of showing it came as an interesting twist. We all quietly worked on our own, me finishing fairly quickly. But soon after that the class was over and I was on my way home to play Call of Duty.

Today I walked into class and it is fashion disaster day today and everyone was talking about other people's outfits it was amazing. The class is talking about the ending of 1984. I think its so interesting watching people's facial expressions when they are telling Mr.Becker their questions or ideas. Randy told Mr.Becker how he thinks Winston is dead. Mr.Becker said like "dead, dead" randy referred to the statement as "if you get shot in your head your DEAD, DEAD". I like when we have discussion over 1984 because therefore I know we will not have any homework to me that's a plus. This class overall was a really good today in discussion better then most maybe because its the end of the book MmM just maybe. Well i say that was a good beginning to start off my day ;]
