David I, 7th hour
It seems to be a common pattern but as expected the day started like any other. people file into their seats, then the bell rings. a light bulb goes off in my head, today was my day for scribe notes. worried as i assumed today was another reading day and i would have nothing to write about. luckily the scribe notes from a previous reading day were going to get read. hopefully this will give me some ideas.as the notes were being read i was relived but at the same time worried. relived to see that this can work, but also worried that mine won't be this good. the reading of the scribe notes were over as we gave a round of applause. Mr. Becker handed back our papers from the beginning of the novel, displease with my score i quickly put it away. Mr. Becker then showed us a scoring guide to help us understand why we got the grades we did. He then informed us on a similar assignment in the future where we will write a essay."yippee" i thought to myself sarcastically. He said we will be expected to embed more quotes and properly, but he has not yet taught us this. With this assignment we will get a prompt a day early, but more on that later. He then explained today's plans which were simply just reading, he also reminded us on our 4th discussion which will be taking place tomorrow.Without further ado we got to reading. putting my nose in the book i could hear Mr. Becker and students quite chatter as he answered questions. he then approached me to remind me that it was my day for scribe notes.i was happy to know i didn't screw up and think i had the wrong day. as i looked around the room it seemed more people were writing then reading which reminded me of that i was probably behind on reading. time passes and we have 20 minutes of class left. i look around and I'm surprised to find that everyone has their noses in the book.I continue reading as i could hear Mr. Becker clacking away on the keyboard.finally 2 minutes left of class as i could here restless feet and movement. the bell rings and we pile out the doors, only 1 day left then we look forward to our 3 day weekend.

so today we walk in to mr beckers room, tara hendix started the class of by giving her connection about the novel 1984,she did a movie clip on the movie intercption. After that taylor ward was explain to mr becker how her dog ate her book! its was pretty funny. then we got our paragraphs back from our first discussion we had, collyn was yelling at me because i was wasting her really cool eraser pen. as always Mr daughty is staring intensly at his computer screen. then class was quite for the rest of the hour so we can all read and get our work done.
Luke Knoche 1st hour: The bell rings as students rush into the class room. I enter the class room knowing that there is another exciting day to read and learn. I am fully awake and cant wait for class to get started...YEAH RIGHT! Like that would ever happen! The teacher enters the dead silent class room as students take their seats. The teacher instructs the students to read all hour. Yet another day of reading the same old boring book. I find myself reading words but my mind is off into a completely different world. I look up and I see students staring off into space. Some are day dreaming and others are getting prepared for tomorrow's discussion. What is it that were reading may you ask? Some 1952 book. Who knows! It remains silent in the class room. Almost as if you could hear a pin drop. The class is ended with the bell. Students slowly get up and gather their stuff. They exit the doorway knowing that there is a discussion first thing tomorrow morning. How exciting.
