Jessica D., 7th hour
As i walked into class today I was all hot and sweaty nervous because i didn't know exactly how to write scribe notes but, I manged so knowing its a typical Monday at school its 7th hour everyone of course is tried or excited its the last hour of the day...as students start walking in an taking their seats, they all grab these worksheets that are setting there table and it says connections and the students are all waiting anxiously to know what today's objective is. When the bell rings Mr. Becker explains what the connections worksheet is that its about the students bringing in artifacts that relate to the book 1984 and presenting them to the class on whatever date a student decides to do. Also, after he discusses with the class about the connections he reminds the class about ongoing assignments which would include Response writing that we have to complete 5/9,connections,and scribe notes. Also, then Mr.Becker enlightens us with his humor to the students do you have any questions? There were a couple of questions from students pertaining to the objectives that he had just discussed. Shortly after that Mr.Becker told the class to get started on finishing chapter 1 out of the book, while the class started reading i noticed some of my fellow class mates were also, working on there chapter one response for our class discussion tomorrow while there reading. As the room is filled with silence everyone with their noises in the books, all the sudden the door opens an Mr. Hornbuckle comes in and goes over to Mr.Becker an they whisper quietly about there plans for the next day. As the class period is coming to an end everyone is waiting and counting down the minutes all the sudden i look up its 5mins left in class and I notice everyone is either still reading or putting there books away. I leave five minutes early finally freedom, and of course everyone is just waiting for that bell to ring and rush out to their cars...I am saying that today in class was a good day well spent cause everyone was doing what they were suppose too, and we didn't waste time cause we needed this class time to finish reading or start on our response for tomorrows discussion.

The warning bell sounded and every rushed into the room, egarly awaiting see see what today's agenda was. It's Monday and everyone is patiently waiting to hear the gossip from their fellow classmates weekened. Mr. Becker inturrupts the converstaion to tell us that we were going to have a "natural disaster" take place in the next 5 minutes. For their about to be a natural disaster people are pretty calm, Mr. Daughtery is very focused writting things down in his binder and Mr. Becker waits to take charge and tell us were to go in order to save or lives! As the tornado comes through FHC we slowly walk out to the hall and sit in front of the lockers, and "away from the windows" as Mrs.K states. After we had safely returned to our seats with no injuries Mr. Becker talked about the "Connections Workersheet" we picked up off the table, He explained in detail what he was looking for from his bright star students. After we heard Mr. Beckers wisdom he then allowed us one more day of reading from our text. Pages turned, pencils wrote upon the paper as we all got ready for the discussion we were going to have in class tomorrow. 5 minutes were left when everyone started packing up their things anxiously waiting for the bell to ring so we could get to our next class(which means one step towards the end of the day) as we sat in our seats conversations begin to pick up about their day and what homework they had but Nick had far greater things in mind, he was pondering whether or not to open his own Micky D's because who could fail with opening a Micky D's? you see one around every corner.
