Brian C. 7th hour I walked in the class and noticed that there were no papers on the table at the door so I just knew the day would be a breeze. When the bell rang the teacher pulled out the about us cards and I thought to my self this day is just getting better and better. After we were done with the note cards I realized that we still had more than half of the class period left. I thought we would have the rest of the class period to ourselves, but boy was i wrong. The teacher handed to us our first novel for the school year. If I didn't know any better i could have sworn it was the holy bible. Then when i opened the book thats when i really started to panic, I could barely read the print and there were hundreds of pages. but when the teacher expained what the book was about i found it interesting because i know alot lot of people who think about there future and wonder how its going to turn out for them. This author wrote about his future, our time so i think it would be cool to see how different or similar this book is to our lives.
Ashley D. 7th hour.
We all walked into class, dreading what lied ahead. Looking up at the smart board it said.. "seating chart" DUN DUN DUNNNN! Hoping that we got to sit next to our friends, we all gathered our things and walked to the front of the class. As Mr. Becker called out our names and pointed to a seat, one by one, we sat down. Either happy or annoyed by the people sitting around us. After thats all over with Mr. Becker went over the new piece of information about our reading assignments. He went on and on about what to do while half of us were day dreaming about something else. When he was done explaining everhing we bombed him with questions because we were all so confused. After all the questions were out of the way, we shared a couple laughs when Mr. Becker started to ask us questions and raising his voice real high at the end... You just had to be there to understand. The rest of the class was ours to start our new reading assignment. We then faded away with the sound of turning pages.
Jamyra D. 1st hour: I walked into classroom drowsy and ready to go and lay down in bed i dragged my feet slow and steady to my seat as all the students glare at me. i finally get to my seat and mr becker decides to do some notecards he pulls a card all you see are tired and lazy students standing up and sit down. The last statement was made and all you see is Drake standing up . Mr Becker and him were having a nice conversation about football ... it was all foreign to me i didnt understand a word they were saying and to be honest i dont think anybody else knew what they were talking about. Becker asked Drake if he like his name ... thinking to myself i was saying Yeah duh of course he likes his name he wouldnt like to have the name Drake i mean nobody else has that name except the most amazing artist Drake from degrasssi. We get done with the note cards and Mr beckers explains more about the scribe notes to us for about the hundreth time , i think students were looking at him as if he thought we were kindergarteners who dont understand anything. He started to go over our assignment and how we have to right 5 out of 9 responses i was thinking how bout only 1 out of 9 ... i guess that was just my laziness kicking in !! Everyone gets out there books and starts reading and writing responses. It close to the end of class and everyone iis starting to already pack up ... books shutting and binders opening and students chattering . The bell rings and everyone runs out it kinda reminded me of being in an african sufari when the animals stampede from their predators !
Ryan D.1st hour.AS the bell rang at 7:25,a tall figure walked in front of the class and it turned out it was our teacher Mr.Becker,as he begins speak,he goes over how to complete the scribe notes.next the teacher reads cards to learn about the students in the class,when he got to the second card, the teacher and the stundent go in debth talking about the rams,then they talk about foot ball in general.as the clock on the wall read 7:42 the cards stoped and it became silent.next the teacher told the students to get a paper from the table that reads "Respone Writing and Discussion Grades" than he began to go over it with us,as the reading stoped the teacher asks "make sure i did not forget anthing?"(the students to tired to speak)the teacher says "other questions?".lastly the teacher says(with a smile) "students pull out your books and continue reading" when 8:20 rolls around the sound of the bell had set us free to go to our next class.
