With everyone hurrying into the room right as the bell rang today, we barely had time to even read the board before Mr. Becker announced that Melissa would be doing her connection. She made her connection between Manderley and the movie Clue. It was a pretty interesting connection even though I have not seen the movie before. After Melissa finished, Mr. Becker announced that we would have the remainder of the time to work on our essay reflections, conferences with him, or reading Section #5 that should be finished by Friday. Time seemed to go by pretty quick during class and with about 7 minutes left in class, one student started packing up their stuff to go home. Sure enough the rest of the class joined and like every other day, we lined up at the door impatiently waiting for the bell to ring. Whoever didn't meet with Mr. Becker today will have a chance another day to do so.
