Kevin Poenicke 7th Not much out of the ordinary happening today, 2 day weeks rock my socks off. There is only 7 days left to write a connection for all of you guys out there that havent finished it. Upon listening to discussion today I think that some people went online and looked up what really happened to Rebecca in the novel because everyone seemed to have the same story. This part of the reading definitely had the most questions. I think I recalled eight hands up at one time waiting for their question to be answered! That is a record for our class. Everyone is excited to leave the room as we had had a long stressing school week. not. Connections everybody!

1st Hour
I'm not sure if it is on purpose, or just a mere coincidental pattern for me, but i always seem to have my day for scribe notes on the day before a really long break. Who knows? Regardless, today class for me started off unlike any other day, seeing as though i was late for class. Not intentionally, but because there just happened to be a severe wreck that happened right before school started, completely slowing down my path to school. As i walked into class, i noticed one of two things: Numer one, that our discussion had already started, and number two, that i had not only forgotten my book in my car as a result of my tardiness, but that inside the book was the response that I had written the night before. Perfect. Regardless, class proceeded as usual, with the typical "first hour" behavior; dull and unresponsive. We talked about the section out of the book where the narrator is just now beginning to realize that the marriage to Maxin was maybe not such a good idea. The dicussion also consisted of lots of responses to Mrs. Dancers current behavior to the narrator. I shared my opinion on the matter, stating that if I were the narrator, I would have fired Mrs. Danvers on the spot. I understand that she may feel like it is her not place to do so yet, but if my housekeeper was telling me to committ suicide by jumping out the window, i think that would be the last straw for me. That is basically the sum of what the entire discussion was over today.
Justin U. 3rd hour. we first started off the class with Ians connection, he did it on the beauty and the beast. it was intresting. Mr. becker grades him on his performance. then we start off the decisson about section 6. mr darvey is leading it today, Mr becker is passing out papers to us while we decuss. collyn is staring fiecly at her pensil. Mr becker is now playing on his computer,so as the section goes on we talk about the book rebecca. everyone has lost respect for rebecca. today is the last day for a 5 day weekend. then the bell rings and everyone ran out the door.
