Taylor W. 3rd Hour When i got into class Collyn came in and was talking about how she walked past someone laughing about someones dog dieing. I then talked to Bobby about dubstep music. haha. We had a sub today which was okay since we had to finish our essay tests from yesterday. I don't care much for them since i never know how to do them. Plus this one was hard because i don't get poems at all. Ashley got lucky and didn't have to take it,im pretty jealous. We were told when we were done to turn them in and work on something quietly. Everyone started working on the test quietly until the end of the hour. We also got responses and quizzes from Rebecca back. Overall the period was pretty good.
Kayla W. 7th Hour As i was walking into the room, I realized that Mr. Becker was not here. Wondering where he may be, I sat down and listened to the sub tell us what we already knew. He explained that today was the last day for the constusted response portion of our final and that we were to be quiet the whole hour. As he passed out pre-writings out from the day before, every one got out their writing utensil and cleared their desk. I wondered if they were freaking out about this the same way I was. Thinking about the prompt I hear him call my name, I grabbed my paper and the race started! Returning to his desk he quickly took attendence while everyone was scribbling on their papers. All you could hear was papers shuffling and pencils dancing across the papers. Checking the time every once in a while, I wasn't too worried about not finishing. People one by one started getting up, stapling their papers, and turning them in. Now, I was starting to panic. Scribbling down sentences, I checked the clock every five minutes. I was still good to go. Racing the time, I needed to beat the clock. Scrambling together my conclusion paragraph I was reliefed to get up, staple my paper, and proudly turn it in.
