As I had walked into class thinking it would be like any other day, (writing, writing, and more writing) I had soon discovered that I had the privilege to not only write, but also examine every person in the room, while they all had worked on their Rebecca essays, in silence of course! Hey anything’s better than that writing prompt from Monday! After a few conversations, while fellow classmates around me had admired my celebrity red carpet art work I had decided to get down to business! As we all talked in our little groups around the room Justin, as always had decided to stick out like a sore thumb. All of a sudden looking up from my paper, I heard Mr. Becker’s voice, “Justin got that topic outline!” and then with a short, quick response, “yeah, wanna see it!” As I watched my fellow classmates get out and back in their seats, hoping their outlines get the response they hope for from Mr. Becker I began to worry. I didn’t even pick my prompt yet! Prompt five, or six. Five, or six! Kept going through my head. About half way through class we had gotten a little chatty because sure enough Mr. Becker yelled,” Work on essay. Be quite!” By that time I had finally gotten an idea I awaited my turn to get Mr.Beckers feed back. When I came back I had taken a second to look around the room at every ones actions. People around the room were either franticly searching through their novels for good, supporting quotes, or writing line after line with no pause in between! And then all of a sudden I look to my left and see Kevin, or shall I say Saucy Bossy trying to balance an eraser within the pages of his book, soon I had come to realize that he was trying to defy gravity! While listening to the clicking of Josh’s essay being developed and Justin calling me a hobo everyone had suddenly started making their way to the door. By that time that’s when I knew class was going to be over in five minutes! Sure enough we all lined up by the door waiting for that bell to ring for freedom!
