Suggestions on how to proceed:
1)  First, mark all words and phrases that were especially important in helping you make sense of the poem.
2)  Next, look up the meanings of all unfamiliar words and phrases.
3)  Then, read the poem more closely and settle on a dominant theme/emotion to focus on.
4)  Now, annotate the HECK out of it, making especially sure to mark passages which relate to your thesis.
5)  At that point, begin assembling a draft of your explication.  This could be done in several ways.
